Over the years we’ve heard from customers that it’s important for everyone in their organization — from designers to sales people to have access to their brand’s assets. Because of this, we’re happy to announce we’ve made several new improvements to Lingo’s sharing functionality, each designed to help make team wide distribution even easier and more secure. Important note, this functionality is only available to customers in Lingo’s Enterprise tier. If you’re interested in learning more about Lingo’s enterprise tier you can check out our pricing page.
Let’s start by looking at each new improvement individually.
We know you want your asset libraries in Lingo to look official and on brand and this includes the link to your library. Now you can create a custom subdomain for your Lingo workspace - for example acme.lingoapp.com. This subdomain will not only make your library feel more on brand it will also make your library easier for your team members to find since they will be able to commit the link to their memory.

We know security is important to you which is why we’ve added the ability to password protect your share links. This means you’ll still have the ease of sharing your assets with someone who is not a member of your Lingo workspace, but you’ll now have an added layer of security, knowing only people who know your password will be able to open the library.

We know you often times need to share multiple kits with your team. Now you can easily do this with our new Brand portal functionality. Simply select which kits you want to place in your Brand portal. Your team members who are not members of your Lingo workspace can then access your portal by navigating to your custom subdomain. There they will see a single view with all the kits they can access. Better yet, you can password protect your portal so you can control who can enter your portal.

All these features work together to make it simple and secure to distribute your brand’s assets to your entire organization which will help ensure brand consistency and increase productivity.
