Manage the information and creative assets behind every product in one connected system.
Creating product information is only the beginning. Keeping it accurate everywhere is the harder part.
Product details may live in spreadsheets while photography and packaging files sit in shared drives or asset libraries. A packaging image changes, but the old version remains on a retailer’s website. A description is updated in one spreadsheet but not another. Teams spend hours finding files, confirming details, and correcting outdated content.
Lingo Products brings product information into Lingo alongside the creative assets people need to represent and sell each product accurately.
Lingo began as a place for teams to organize and share digital assets, including brand guidelines, packaging, photography, and marketing materials. Over time, we noticed customers using Lingo for something more.
The need was especially visible among our cannabis customers. Their teams were using Kits to organize product names, descriptions, strains, potency, sizes, SKUs, state-specific details, and related assets. They were building product catalogs for different brands and states because the information and imagery their partners needed were scattered across systems.
The same challenge exists throughout retail. Product data and creative content travel together, but the systems used to manage them often do not. Products expands Lingo beyond digital asset management and into product information management, giving teams one place to manage what a product is and how it should be represented.
Products gives teams a structured catalog for product names, descriptions, SKUs, category-specific details, variants, photography, packaging, sales assets, and more.
Teams can keep shared information together while managing the details and assets unique to each variant. A skincare product might come in three sizes, each with its own SKU, dimensions, packaging, and photography. A cannabis product may require different potency information, approved language, or packaging in each state. Products keeps those variations connected to the assets used to represent and sell them.
When something changes, teams have a clear place to update the approved information and find the content connected to it. They spend less time searching through folders and spreadsheets and have a more dependable source for everyone working with the product.
Once products are in the catalog, teams can add them to Lingo Kits without rebuilding the same information for every audience. Each Kit presents a curated selection of products, details, and assets while continuing to reference the catalog.
A product catalog Kit might give a retailer the descriptions and imagery needed for an upcoming launch. A market-specific Kit can give local teams access to the products and approved assets relevant to their region. Each audience gets a clear, useful view without having to understand how the entire asset library is organized.
Channels help teams track the places where product information needs to remain current, such as retailers, distributors, wholesale systems, and eCommerce platforms.
When an image, price, or product status changes, teams can see which Channels may need attention and identify downstream updates sooner. External systems may still require a manual update today, but teams gain a central place to see what changed instead of relying on memory, email threads, or another tracking spreadsheet.
As integrations become available, our goal is to help approved product changes move more directly into the systems that depend on them.
Together, Products creates the source, Kits deliver the right content to each audience, and Channels show where updates require attention.
Products, including the ability to add products to Kits, is available on all Lingo plans. Market organization and Channels are available on Business plans and above.

Brands put significant work into developing products, packaging, photography, positioning, and sales materials. That work should remain connected as products move across teams, partners, platforms, and markets.
Products lays the foundation for a more connected way to manage and distribute product content. We’re building toward a future where brands can update a product once and move approved information more efficiently to every place that relies on it.
